President’s Message

Wow!  Has this year flown by!

As I begin my second year as President, I am thankful for so much and wanted to share a few thoughts as Schaeffer Electric continues to move forward.

We are now already two months in to our Fiscal Year 2013, and we’re off to a great start. Shortly, Schaeffer will begin work on a ‘spin cell’ which balances high speed turbines – one of only a few in the world. It’s unique to say the least, and we look forward to working with MD&A and Tarlton in building the facility. Vital projects for Mercy, Webster University, Elantas and others are ongoing.

My goal is to build on the success that Schaeffer Electric experienced in 2012 and maintain that momentum this year and beyond. Once again, we have been blessed with the support and loyalty of our customers – many of whom we have worked with for decades. We can’t thank you enough for the confidence you place in our expert team every day.

Additionally, I am so fortunate to work with such a great, dedicated and talented group of men and women at Schaeffer. Their support during my transition to President has been awesome. Our firm is heading into its 78th year in business, and I have a much greater appreciation of what it takes to succeed. Our people are at the heart of that effort. Recently, Lonnie Somers joined our group as an estimator/project manager in the Low Voltage Division, and he brings great experience and enthusiasm to the table.

In closing, Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to all! May that spirit remain with you throughout the year.
